Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA. Fable Events is fully conformant with WCAG 2.1 level AA. Fully conformant means that the content fully conforms to the accessibility standard without any exceptions.
Additional accessibility considerations
While our goal is WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance, we have applied some Level AA Success Criteria: Images of text are used only for decorative purposes. Changes of context are initiated only by user request or a mechanism is available to turn off such changes. A glossary page with pronunciation guides has been created to disambiguate unusual words, phrases, abbreviations, acronyms, and initialisms - this page is kept updated with each new piece of web content. The website doesn't require concurrent input mechanisms for navigation or use. Target sizes for pointer inputs are larger than 44 by 44 CSS pixels, except when inline text or is otherwise essential to the presentation. Link purpose is described in the title of any link. The website can be navigated in its entirety solely by using keyboard controls. Any video media content has captions and written audio descriptors, as does any solely audio content.
